Improve dog health through dog socialization or interaction

Dogs are such good pets because they love to socialize with us. They are normal quite social pets; they love to spend time and socialize with you and other dogs or pets.

Good dog care includes allowing your dog to frequently socialize and interact. Your dog will feel as though he were in prison if you isolate him or restrict his interaction.

This partially explains why your pet gets so excited as soon as he sees you return home.

A woman reader sent us comments about an her experience after leaving her dog alone for 4 days while she and her husband had gone on a trip to Las Vegas.

It seems that her pet didn’t just ignore her upon her return, he dug several holes and turned her garden totally upside down!

Dogs do not like being left alone. Limiting your dog socialization affects your his health. It could also result in his becoming a mean-spirited and disrespectful dog. Show concern for your dog. Include dog socialization in your dog's life. You will be glad you did as your dog ownership experience will be fun and enjoyable.

This is a common experience of pet owners who leave their dogs alone. To avoid this, the next time you must be away from your dog, arrange for him to stay at a dog day care center or even with one of your good friends who can be trusted to provide good dog care for your dog while you areaway. Don't limit your dog's socialization just because you are not available.

This way your home and its surroundings will be safe from a little over-exuberant doggie destruction, and most importantly your dog will be safe and well cared for. You will no longer feel guilty for leaving your pet behind.

It is proven that most day care facilities provide a good level of dog care. At the dog day care, your dog gets to socialize with friendly people and with other dogs. Many dog day care services provide other aspects of dog care such as bathing, training, and grooming.

Be assured that by the time you come to retrieve your dog he will likely already be exhausted from having too much interaction and fun at the dog care center. He will have less interest in digging up your garden or making any messes but simply be glad to see you.

Remember, a good level of dog care leads to a happy dog and a happy pet ownership experience for you.
